Located in Kyrgyzstan, Arslanbob is a dream destination for winter sports. Its pristine snow capped peaks and walnut forests are perfect for splitboarding, snowboarding and skiing fun. On this Arslanbob guided splitboarding week, I will show you some of its best slopes!
We will first meet at Osh airport from where we will drive to Arslanbob town. After lunch and a trip briefing that will include safety and avalanche beacon training, we will set off to get a first taste of the mountains. Then, the following days, after breakfast, we will head out for some fun splitboarding adventures, and return in the evening for dinner, and maybe some relaxing in the sauna for those who wish.
Because we will be spending all day out in the snow, it is important that you have a good fitness level. Also, you will need some prior splitboarding experience. Of course, throughout the whole trip, I will be there to assist you and show you some of the top Arslanbob splitboarding spots.
Are you ready for an adventure in the mountains of Kyrgyzstan? Then book your place now and join me on this week long splitboarding trip in Arslanbob!
Or, if you want something shorter, you can always join a weekend splitboarding tour!

Mountain Guide
Based in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, I’m an IFMGA-certified guide and the technical director of the Kyrgyz Mountain Guide Association (KMGA). I'm also a certified mountain guide and mountaineering instructor, and a “Snow Leopard” — having summited all five peaks over 7000m in the former Soviet Union. I’ve received extensive training in Switzerland and I’m a certified rescuer (carrying out rescues up to 6800m).
Ski touring and mountaineering are my two biggest passions and I love sharing these activities with my clients. I specialize in high altitude and technical ascents, heliskiing, backcountry camps and avalanche courses.
I’ve stood on the summit of a 7-thousander more than 20 times — including Lenin, Korjenevskaya, Communism (Somoni), Pobeda and Mustagh-Ata, among others. I’ve also participated in ski mountaineering expeditions to Lenin Peak and Mustagh-Ata and several 4-thousanders around the world.
I’ve also been organizing my own avalanche courses since 2009 and was in charge of translating materials on the Russian risk reduction method Nivocheck. I speak English and Russian.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.

We had Léo as a guide for our day climb in Fonty. We were blessed with a knowledgeable, warm, and instructive guide. Communication with Léo and Ivan was smooth and swift. Explore-Share was excellent in arranging everything for our day climb. The communication was quick, and the platform was easy to use, making our adventure stress-free.

Patrick was a great guide. He took us on an intermediate Via Ferrata at Passo Sella. Renato was quick to respond with any outreach on the Explore-Share platform. The booking process was straightforward, and once Patrick was confirmed, all went well. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the platform.
