Come with me to a great trekking experience in Sierra Nevada Mountain Range: Alpujarras region.

I invite you to a 5-day trek in Alpujarras that will make you connect with the quietest nature and the imposing mountains. What’s more, you will enjoy its nice and friendly people who still conserve the hospitality from their Arab ancestors. Our trail-head will be in the heart of Alpujarras-Capileita and will take us among the most beautiful villages of the area.

This trek is suitable for any people with a good physical condition. Take into account we’ll walk between 5 and 7 hours per day across Sierra Nevada valleys. I can organize stops previously planned depending on the difficulty and slopes.

I have chosen the accommodation in the villages of Alpujarras, basing my decision on the quality of their services. There is available dates during all the year!

Itinerary

Day 1: Poqueira River Valley

We’ll discover one of the most beautiful routes of all Sierra Nevada.

Day 2: Capileria - Pampaneria - Bubión - Capileria

Undoubtedly, the three most famous and beautiful villages of Alpujarras.

Day 3: Capileria - Trevelez

We will hike up to the highest village of Spain, crossing forests and enjoying the most representative fauna of Sierra Nevada.

Day 4: Capileira - Lookout point of Trevelez - Mulhacen

Summit day at the highest point of the Peninsula.

Day 5: Capileira - Buddhist monastery

You will discover why Buddhists have chosen this place to build a monastery…

AEGM and UIMLA guide from Spain.

I'm a mountain lover since I went up to Mulhacén at the age of 14. Since then I've been to mountains all around the world, always looking for new challenges.

I like to share the love I feel for the mountains, and all what I learned out there during all these years.

Some of my credentials:

- Certified mountain guide for blind people (UNED foundation)
- Wilderness Guide (WGA, currently in process)
- Wilderness Advanced First Aid (WAFA certified)
- Member of the Spanish Association of Mountain Guides (AEGM) and member of the Union of International Mountain Leaders Association (UIMLA)

Regarding my experience, I've done ascents and trekkings in the Alps, Pyrenees, Atlas range, Andes, Himalayas and Norway. I'm originally from Granada, in Andalucía, so I know in detail the region of Sierra Nevada.
