Description

This program takes place at a strategic location in the Alpe Adria. It is a tour especially designed for you to enjoy the best off piste skiing spots of the region! Join me for an amazing skiing day this winter.

For this program, we will be based in Kranjska Gora, one of the biggest ski resorts in Slovenia. We will then be a short distance from amazing slopes and descents in Slovenia, Italy and Austria. A true paradise for all powder lovers!

Also, a great advantage of this program is that you can experience off-piste skiing in three different countries in the same tour. Plus, this location gives us the chance of going where the best snow conditions are.

Some of the ski resorts in the Alpe Adria we can aim for from Kranjska Gora are…

In Slovenia:

Vogel (1-hour drive)

In Slovenia / Italy:

Sella Nevea / Kanin (40-minute drive)

In Italy:

Tarvisio (20-minute drive) – perfect when there is lots of fresh snow!

In Austria:

Moltall (1.5-hour drive)
Obertauern (1-hour, 45-minute drive)
Ankogel (1-hour, 45-minute drive)
Sport Gastein (1.5-hour drive, plus car train)

This tour can be organized as a 1-day tour, in which case the starting point can be agreed with the guests, within Slovenia.

The program can also be organized as a multi-day tour. In this case, the best base is Kranjska Gora. If needed, I recommend the Hotel Kotnik (Kranjska Gora, Slovenia).

Transportation from the airport can also be arranged if required.

Finally, for this program I will take groups of up to 6 skiers. The program can be adapted to the skill level of all the members of the group.

I am a UIAGM mountain guide, ski instructor and sports teacher and the current president of the Slovenian Mountain Guide Association.

I am still the only guide who can make a living working exclusively in Slovenia. I climb Triglav more than 25 times per year, which means I have climbed the most famous peak in my country over 200 times.

If you want to climb or ski in Slovenian mountains I am the right choice. I guide via ferrata, rock climbing, snow climbing, ice climbing, hikes, heliski, freeride skiing and ski touring.
