Description

The highest peak in Europe, Mont Blanc (4,810m) is a marvel in every way. Whether you are climbing it, skiing on it or just admiring it from afar, it is the kind of peak that embodies wonder. And on this trip, which lasts 5 thrilling days, you will get to ice climb on the mythical peak’s collection of ice falls.

There are a number of ice falls you will get to visit and enjoy on this trip. Some examples include the following.

Each one of these falls are gorgeous and present a thrilling experience. They are all also at a WI 5-6 level as well. As a result, this trip is not for beginners. In fact, it is an advanced level ice climbing trip. With that said, participants must have prior ice climbing experience. On the first day of the trip, we will test your abilities as a means to properly plan the program.

On this trip, there is also the option to hire a personal photographer who will take great pictures and videos of your adventure. If you are interested in that option, just let us know in advance.

During this trip, you will get to explore the surroundings of the great Mont Blanc peak in a truly unique way. As you scale the various ice falls, you will not only get to enjoy some unforgettable thrills, but gain some fantastic views of the Alps. My biggest satisfaction is to explore new places, and share it with a rope-mate. And to do it as a professional is the realization of a dream. At the age of 15, I knew I wanted to become a mountain guide, I wanted to live in the mountains, teach and share my new passion. In 2006 I realized my dream and I became a professional mountain guide. I like sharing my knowledge and experience with my clients, taking a journey that transforms slowly the guide-client relationship in climbing partner and often in friendship. I am not and never will be a lone climber but "a company" 'explorer. My specialty lies certainly in climbing on ice and mixed in the high mountains. With my clients I climbed the most difficult faces in the Alps, explored mountain ranges, traveled between America, Asia, Africa, and Europe.
