Description

Admire the most incredible Russian landscapes on this heliskiing tour in Kamchatka, Siberia.

Kamchatka is a volcanic Peninsula located in eastern Russia. It contains a large number of volcanoes and it is the perfect wild area for amazing winter mountaineering activities.

On this 7-day heliski trip, we’ll start in Petropavlovsk. Remember that I can pick you up at the airport and drive you to the hotel if you wish. You will enjoy the comfort and luxury of the Russo Balt North Adventure Hotel, located 30 minutes from the airport.

During the following 6 days of skiing, we will fly on the MI8-MTV helicopter along with a small group of people and then ski across the incredible snow-covered volcanoes of the area. All participants must have a high level of fitness and previous skiing experience.

Itinerary

Day 1: Petropavlovsk

I will pick you up at the airport of Petropavlovsk and transfer you to the hotel. After lunch, I’ll provide you with some information about security and the helicopter.

Day 2 to 7: Heliskiing days

You’ll enjoy heliskiing across the astonishing volcanoes of Kamchatka.

Day 8: Back and end of the trip

Return to the airport and goodbye.

I have been a mountain guide for almost 20 years. But I'm not only a guide...
The mountain is the thread of my life. I am a member of the Chamonix Guides Company, ski instructor and teacher for many years at ENSA (National School of Ski and Alpinism), I am very experienced in the mountains. My experience is multifaceted since I partake in varied projects, as a trainer and first aider at the Chamoniarde de Secours (an association that contributes to the development of mountain safety and to promote alpine environment knowledge), technical supervisor of the freeride competitions organization, or safety advisor and rider in several freeride videos.
My favorite?... The Kamchatka, heliski's promised land. In 2005 I created a heliski agency in Russia, to share my passion organizing exceptional ski journeys.
