Join me in this amazing 10-day ski touring traverse in Chile, and get ready to ski on the slopes of 4 volcanoes!

We will go up to the group of stratovolcanos Nevados de Chillan, with the Chillan Volcano, and to the top of the Lonquimay (2865 m), Llaima (3125 m) and Villarrica Volcanoes (2847 m). This ski touring traverse in Chile is an experience you cannnot miss!

I will meet you in Concepción, a city in the southwest of Chile. Then, we will drive to Nevados de Chillan. It has become the most popular ski center in the country. Most important, with its ever changing terrain, it offers an incredible backcountry access. So, we will start our ski touring traverse in Chile, staying in Chillan for 3 nights.

Then, we will travel to the Lonquimay Volcano (2865 m). We will have the option to visit some relaxing hot springs nearby. Our tour continues to the summit of this volcano, going through Corralco Ski Resort.

After Lonquimay, I will take you to the Llaima Volcano (3125 m). We will go up to its summit, going through Las Araucarias ski resort.

On our eighth day we will travel to the city of Pucon. We will also have the option to visit hot springs here. Next morning, I will guide you to the summit of the Villarrica Volcano (2847 m). Finally, we will travel to the city of Temuco.

Itinerary

Day 1: Santiago-Concepción-Nevado de Chillan

Arrival in Santiago de Chile, the capital of Chile. Transfer to take a national flight to Concepcion airport (CCP). I will pick you up in Concepción in a private transport. We will drive to Nevados de Chillan hotel, where we will stay for the next 3 nights.

Day 2: Nevados de Chillan

Day 4: Lonquimay Volcano

We will travel to Lonquimay Volcano. It will be a 4 hours drive, approximately. We will stay 2 nights at SuizAndina Lodge. *Optional: visit to Malalcahuello Hot Springs.

Day 5: Summit of Lonquimay Volcano

Ski touring to the summit of the Lonquimay Volcano. We will go through Corralco Ski Resort.

Day 6: Llaima Volcano

We will travel for about 2/3 hours to Llaima Volcano.

Day 7: Summit of Llaima Volcano

Ski touring to summit of the Llaima Volcano. We will go through Las Araucarias Ski Resort.

Day 8: Pucon

We will drive to Pucon (3 hours). *Optional: visit to Geometric Hot Springs.

Day 9: Summit of Villarrica Volcano

Ski touring to the summit of the Villarrica Volcano.

Day 10: Temuco - Santiago

Transfer to Temuco airport where you can take a flight to Santiago, to connect your flight back home.

The price is based on double accommodation.

The price also includes: -Lift tickets -Breakfasts -It also includes lunch and dinner (buffet style) in Nevados de Chillan hotel. Drinks are not included. -The guide's food and lodging costs are included, except in Pucon.

Your international and national flights are not included. However we can help you buy local flights, as we can most likely get better rates.
