Join me for an exciting ski touring traverse in the surroundings of Mount Triglav, the highest mountain in Slovenia.

This is a 4-day adventure off the beaten tracks. It's also a great opportunity to explore Mount Triglav National Park almost entirely. In fact, this is the only protected area in the country.

The itinerary goes across the Julian Alps, from Bohinj to Mojstrana.

Although it's recommended to have some previous ski touring experience, you don't need to be a great skier.

As a local mountain guide, I will be in charge of your safety. Besides, I will be happy to share with you many stories and information about this beautiful region.

Depending on your time and wishes, you can also choose a 3-day or 5-day ski touring trip. However, according to my experience, this is the ideal length.

Day 3: From Prehodavci to Triglavski Dom (1300+ 800-)

Day 4: From Triglavski Dom to Mojstrana (200+ 1700-)

Equipment rental (skies, skins, boots) is around 90€ per set for 4 days. Cable car is around 10€, food and accommodation is 100€ for 3 days and nights.

I am a UIAGM mountain guide, ski instructor and sports teacher and the current president of the Slovenian Mountain Guide Association.

I am still the only guide who can make a living working exclusively in Slovenia. I climb Triglav more than 25 times per year, which means I have climbed the most famous peak in my country over 200 times.

If you want to climb or ski in Slovenian mountains I am the right choice. I guide via ferrata, rock climbing, snow climbing, ice climbing, hikes, heliski, freeride skiing and ski touring.
