Description

Ski mountaineering is a thrilling activity. It can also be a challenging one. As a result, it is important to know how to do it properly. Thus ensuring an experience that will be as safe as it will be fun. And on this 4-day basic ski mountaineering course, we will cover a great deal of the skills and techniques necessary for successful ski mountaineering. Furthermore, this course will take place in the gorgeous Aosta Valley in the Alps of Italy.

Some of what we will cover during this course includes how to ski safely on snow-covered terrain, as well as ascending and descending techniques. We will also cover materials, how to create an itinerary, nivology, self-rescue in snowy environments, and more.
