Join this ski touring adventure through the Argentinian Patagonia. Explore Bariloche and its surroundings. And reach the internationally famous Frey Refuge.

Our adventure will begin in the Cerro Catedral ski resort. There we’ll enjoy mesmerizing vistas from the 2 lifts we’ll take to reach the top. Then, we’ll ski tour towards the Frey Refuge.

Bariloche is famous for its top notch powder snow, and its first class ski resorts. However, during our journey, we’ll venture into more secluded areas, so we can enjoy more wild and thrilling descents. Also we’ll enjoy truly breathtaking drops. But the steep couloirs I’ll take you to, will certainly have you holding your breath and injecting you with a fresh dosage of adrenaline.

Moreover, the views we’ll get all around, majestic mountains, granite towers, enchanting forests, and charming lakes, will make this an unforgettable experience. Itinerary

Day 1: Frey Refuge

Our adventure begins in the ski resort at Cerro Catedral. Then we’ll ski tour towards the Frey mountain refuge.

Day 2: Ski touring adventure

We’ll enjoy some of the best ski touring in the world!

Day 3: Cerro Catedral

We will keep exploring the area, ski touring through wonderful spots. And at the end of the day we’ll head back to Cerro Catedral.

Mountain Guide

IFMGA/UIAGM mountain guide from Argentina.

Tomas was born in Bariloche and is now an IFMGA/UIAGM High Mountain Guide. At 5 years of age he began to ski and from there he developed his passion for the mountains. He moved to El Chalten in 2006. Tomy has worked and climbed in Argentina, Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Colombia, Nepal, Spain, France, Suitzerland and Italy. In Argentina he has guided on Aconcagua several times and in both North Patagonia and South Patagonia ("El Chalten"). He has climbed Fitz Roy 8 times and Cerro Torre 2 times, as well as numerous ascents of the other peaks in these ranges.
