Come tackle two of the most beautiful peaks in the northwest of the United States with this 3-day climbing trip to the Middle and North Sister Volcanoes.

The Three Sisters are one of the most famous volcanic ranges in Oregon. They are located inside the Three Sisters Wilderness area and are part of the Cascade Range, which runs from British Columbia, in Canada, all the way to northern California.

This beautiful area is home of the most amazing flora and fauna, and a great spot for outdoors activities.

So we would like to take you up to two of these peaks, the Middle and North Sister. We’ll start hiking in between both peaks, to establish our base camp. Here we’ll prepare our stuff and get ready for the next couple of days.

Early next morning we’ll continue hiking up to a saddle in between both peaks and we’ll head to the North Sister through its South Ridge. This approach will take us through some deep snow and we might have to use the ice axe in some areas, so you need to have a bit of previous experience with it as well as with the crampons.Then we’ll return to our camp and have as much rest as we can.

The next morning we’ll get up and aim for the North Ridge of the Middle Sister. This climb is not as technical as the previous one but there will be some deep powder also. Once on top, we’ll enjoy the view and get down to break camp and head back down.
