Description

Welcome aspiring rock climbers to a beautiful outdoor adventure in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, USA. After this two day trip, you’ll fall in love with the sport and look for every opportunity to do it again!

During this adventure, you’ll learn basic rock climbing skills including tying into a climbing rope, belaying and rappelling. Additionally, you’ll also learn how to become a climbing partner and to take proper safety measures. Other skills we will cover include equipment essentials, climbing movements, knots and hitches, anchor evaluation, outdoor climbing hazards and management and the principle of “Climbing Leave No Trace”. Furthermore, we’ll make sure you can practice your new skills for future trips. You’ll become a confident and experienced climber.

This trip is available for single or multi-pitch routes. The possible locations include Wintergreen, Seneca Rocks, Moore’s Wall, Stone Mountain, Pilot Mountain and Richmond.
