Located in the border between Nepal and Tibet, the Nangpa La Trek is an exciting route filled with stunning Himalayan views and historic relevance; it is the ancient trading route between the two countries. This trip is ideal for those looking to get in touch with the unique culture of the Khumbu region and enjoy some magnificent landscapes.
We’ll meet at the Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport and enjoy a whole day sightseeing the best spots in the capital. Then, we’ll fly to Lukla to start our trek. The stretch between Kathmandu and Lukla is considered to be the most beautiful air route in the world.
During our trip, we’ll visit incredible sites, such as the Dudh Koshi River, the Sagarmatha National Park at Monjo, the Nangpa La glacier, waterfalls, monasteries and yellow and white rhododendron forests. We’ll also get to enjoy the Sherpa culture present in the whole region. Through different sections we’ll get to see impressive views of Mt. Thamserku, the Kwangde Peak, Kusum Kangaru, Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Tawache and many others.

We’ll meet at the Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport.
Sightseeing spots include the World Heritage Site of Kathmandu Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupati Nath, the “Monkey Temple” (Swayambhu Nath), and the Buddhists shrine (Bouddha Nath).

Short day-hike.
Glacier sightseeing and then, we’ll go back to Lunak.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area.
