The Catskills are one of the best ice climbing destinations in North America. The Catskills are wonderful place for ice climbers, since they have over 25 different crags with 300+ climbs. During this 2-day adventure, you will enjoy many of these amazing crags and climbs.

Accessing the Catskills is not complicated. This wonderland is located only 161 kilometers north of New York City.

So why climb with one of our guides?

As you know ice climbing can be a challenging activity. Some locations could be difficult to access and might require supervision to ensure your safety. Our certified guides will not only take you to the best spots, but also follow the most strict safety regulations, to make sure you have a safe trip.

The Catskills offer a wide range of ice climbing spots. Thus we have designed this course to make the most of this incredible location. This trip welcomes novices and advance climbers alike. The routes and trails in this area are variable, with different types of challenges depending on your level and previous experience.

There are spots like the Asbestos Walls that are simply perfect for beginners. The Asbestos Wall is ideal to gain more experience, as you can climb a short and relatively comfortable cliff. However, there are also options for those who prefer multi pitch climbing, such as the Stoney Clove. And for the expert climbers there are routes like the Devils Kitchen. This demanding route has a great number of classic lines with different levels of difficulty. There is the Black Chasm route as well, with steep ice pitches that will definately test your skills.
