Description

Join me on this epic one-week trek to the heart of the Dolomites in the Italian alps!

Once we have arrived into the region from our meeting point in Venice, our adventure truly begins. On the first day we will hike past the Tofana di Rozes, one of the most famous and colorful peaks in the whole region, and enjoy stunning views as we ascend toward our first mountain hut.

Throughout the course of the trip, we will enjoy a wide range of scenery, which is well exemplified on the second day when we descend from Monte Lagazuoi and spend a relaxing day trekking through the Valley of Franes.

After making another descent from the Valley of Franes and through a unique and captivating karst landscape, we will arrive in view of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo for the first time. These iconic dolostone outcroppings have been inspiring awe in trekkers and climbers for centuries. Reaching them will be our final destination.

First, however, we will make our way to the summit of the Strudelkopf before descending to the Lago di Landro, from which we will enjoy both a sunset and sunrise at the foot of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo.

On our penultimate day, we trek to the walls of the Monte Paterno, which surrounds the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. From here we will truly be able to contemplate the sheer size of these massifs. We will climb to Fonda Savio and spend the night at the amazing Passo dei Tocci.

Finally, we head back down to Misurina Lake where we conclude our adventure and transfer back to Venice.

Book now for your one week adventure trekking through some of the most iconic mountains in all of the Alps!

If you like the look of this trip then we think you will also enjoy our 4-day guided trek in the Els Ports Massif!

Mountain Leader

AEGM and UIMLA guide from Spain.

I'm a mountain lover since I went up to Mulhacén at the age of 14. Since then I've been to mountains all around the world, always looking for new challenges.

I like to share the love I feel for the mountains, and all what I learned out there during all these years.

Some of my credentials:

- Certified mountain guide for blind people (UNED foundation)
- Wilderness Guide (WGA, currently in process)
- Wilderness Advanced First Aid (WAFA certified)
- Member of the Spanish Association of Mountain Guides (AEGM) and member of the Union of International Mountain Leaders Association (UIMLA)

Regarding my experience, I've done ascents and trekkings in the Alps, Pyrenees, Atlas range, Andes, Himalayas and Norway. I'm originally from Granada, in Andalucía, so I know in detail the region of Sierra Nevada.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.

Patrick was a great guide. He took us on an intermediate Via Ferrata at Passo Sella. Renato was quick to respond with any outreach on the Explore-Share platform. The booking process was straightforward, and once Patrick was confirmed, all went well. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the platform.
