1-day Paralpinism Trip: Cosmiques Ridge Climb and Paraglide

Combine two incredible experiences during this paralpinism trip, sailing over the incredible mountain landscapes after completing an incredible climb of the Cosmiques Ridge.

Cosmiques Ridge is an iconic mountain climbing route around Chamonix.  Not only do climbers enjoy tackling the classic mixed route on snow, ice and rock, the views from the ridge are stunning. Looking below, climbers see Chamonix on one side of the ridge; on the other side, the Mont Blanc massif is visible in the distance.  This climb is typically graded AD, and requires some previous climbing or mountaineering experience.

We will get an early start and take the first cable car in the morning, in order to complete the guided climb of the popular Cosmiques Ridge.  Then, after we enjoy the view from the top of the ridge, another adventure awaits.  Next, we will descend to our launch site, so that we can take off and paraglide around the mountains!  During this 30-45 minute flight, your tandem paraglide pilot will fly you around the north side of Aiguille du Midi or near Vallée Blanche.  From the air, you will have a special view of some of the most beautiful peaks in the Mont Blanc massif.  It will truly be an unforgettable experience.

Paralpinism, like all air sports, is very dependent on weather. So if you like to fly and ski, hike or climb you must be ready to change your target at the last minute. I can´t guarantee that we’ll be able to fly but I promise to do my best to make it happen and have a beautiful and safe journey.

This is how it works :

a) We set a date, a mountain range and what you like to do!

b) Three days before the set date we make a first review of the weather and check if it will be possible. If it is, we continue with our project. If it’s not, we change the destination (as close as possible).

c) On the night before the trip, we organize the last few details

d) We go for it and do our best!

If we  can complete the climb but are unable to fly, a refund of 150€ will be made. For groups of 1, there will be 1 guide and 1 paraglide pilot.  For groups of 2, there will be 1 mountain guide and 2 paraglide pilot.
