See the Mediterranean like you´ve never seen it before from the thrilling climb of the Masua Cliffs! I will provide a multi-pitch tour catered just for you along the water of southwest Sardinia with the gorgeous sea as your backdrop!
The limestone cliffs on this Italian island are a destination for climbers from all over the world. Whether you are new to rock climbing and looking to cut your teeth on one of the easier wall routes, or if you are a veteran in search of that next great challenge, Sardinia has it all.
The Masua is known for its history and tradition, and its the traditional climbs that make these routes so evocative. You can see the incredible formation of the Pan di Zucchero, an ancient natural monument rising out of the sea, while you feel your way along the historic stone of the coastline.
The paths we take in the Sulcis Iglesiente region are located right above the sea, so you will look out over the water and enjoy the views as you traverse the rock. The climbs are long, so we will have ample opportunity to practice technique, utilize our skills, and have a memorable and totally AWESOME time on the cliffs.
I am extremely familiar with all of the possible climbs, so I can make suggestions and design a trip that is exclusively yours. I can mix your skillset with your desire for a challenge for the best possible day out on the rock.
For our descent, we can enjoy the views from parts of the Miniere nel Blu. The path along the coast boasts THE most impressive views of the sea and its formations. You will leave your climb with the story of a lifetime.
Because some of the routes are more demanding, you should be in good physical shape and ready for a sustained climb.

My name is Marco Bigatti, nicknamed “Il Biga”. I was born in Milan, I started climbing in 2006 and since then I have not been able to tear myself away from the vertical world. I turned my passion into a job, becoming Mountain Guide in October 2017, the first mountain guide that lives all the year in Sardinia.
I experience the mountains from a 360-degree point of view. I have practiced all disciplines of climbing in the Alps: rock climbing, alpinism, ice climbing , as well as ski mountaineering.
In addition to alpinism, I love pure sport climbing, seeking out the best climbing sectors throughout the entire Alpine range. But it was in Sardinia that I found a paradise of crags, in particular in the south-west of the island, where you are able to enjoy all types of climbing throughout the year.
I offer climbing day or trips for beginners or experienced climbers who need a guide, multipitch packages for those who want to live an alpine experience, climbing courses, all-inclusive climbing holiday with accommodation in our nice B&B by the sea, guided trekking and mountain biking tours.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area.
