Description

Look down into an unforgettable cove on the shores of Sardinia and spend a day conquering the Aguglia Goloritze monolith! Let me guide you on a charming trek that culminates in a great climb on Sardinia´s coastline.

The Aguglia Goloritze rises up from a cove of clear, green water above Cala Goloritze. The beach itself is a destination, but the large rock face towering above is sought after by climbers all across the world.

Sardinia´s natural geography makes its coastline unique. Hidden throughout the island are jaw-dropping Mediterranean views that take you from rock to canyon to cove to beach. The climate also makes for a comfortable trip to any adventurer who makes his way to the island.

And climbers seek out the Aguglia Goloritze for the challenge. At roughly 140 meters tall, you can scale it in a day and still have time to dive into the cool Mediterranean water below. You will even have time to trek through the captivating rocks and oaks surrounding your walk in and out of the climb.

This is our plan. I will take you from Golgo on a charming route to our climb, where we will multi-pitch our way to the top. Once we descend, we will linger in the cove below and relish the accomplishment. Our route home will give us a nice tour of the canyon of oak and rock as we return.

The views from the summit are truly straight out of a dream. The pristine water and quality of the sand, combined with the stretch of the Mediterranea, will make you want to relive the view from Aguglia every single day for the rest of your life.

This is a challenging climb, so you will want to be in good physical shape to enjoy it to the fullest.

Book this program now and take in the rare panorama at the top of Aguglia Goloritze that will change your life!

I can also take you to climbing on renowned Pan di Zucchero! Or you can follow me to the cliffs of Pranu Sartu!

Aspirant Guide

Aspirant IFMGA/UIAGM Mountain Guide
My name is Marco Bigatti, nicknamed “Il Biga”. I was born in Milan, I started climbing in 2006 and since then I have not been able to tear myself away from the vertical world. I turned my passion into a job, becoming Mountain Guide in October 2017, the first mountain guide that lives all the year in Sardinia.
I experience the mountains from a 360-degree point of view. I have practiced all disciplines of climbing in the Alps: rock climbing, alpinism, ice climbing , as well as ski mountaineering.

In addition to alpinism, I love pure sport climbing, seeking out the best climbing sectors throughout the entire Alpine range. But it was in Sardinia that I found a paradise of crags, in particular in the south-west of the island, where you are able to enjoy all types of climbing throughout the year.
I offer climbing day or trips for beginners or experienced climbers who need a guide, multipitch packages for those who want to live an alpine experience, climbing courses, all-inclusive climbing holiday with accommodation in our nice B&B by the sea, guided trekking and mountain biking tours.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.

Patrick was a great guide. He took us on an intermediate Via Ferrata at Passo Sella. Renato was quick to respond with any outreach on the Explore-Share platform. The booking process was straightforward, and once Patrick was confirmed, all went well. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the platform.
