So if you wish to get a real taste of Mexico, join this hiking, caving and culinary adventure in Vergel, in the Sierra Gorda Biosphere Reserve.

Departing from Guanajuato, we’ll head towards one of the most wonderful parts of the country. This natural paradise covers various mexican states, including Guanajuato, Querétaro, Hidalgo and San Luis Potosi. And even though most of it lies in Queretaro, the parts it covers in Guanajuato are equally mesmerizing. Furthermore, we will discover unique flora and fauna, along with several micro environments that were preserved here due to the singularity of the terrain.

This paradise offers unrivaled hypnotizing views. However, we will venture underground to enjoy even more exciting sceneries. Furthermore, we’ll get to live a magical experience, crossing passages under the surface in complete silence and tranquility, surrounded by nothing but obscurity at parts. Then, as we keep crawling across narrow passages, we will uncover all the beauties of this world under our feet. As the rooms we’ll explore will give us the sensation of being the only people on Earth!

After we complete our descent, we’ll head to the charming town of Vergel. Here, we will meet welcoming locals who will share their traditions with us, as well as try their exquisite traditional meals.
