Join me for this exciting and scenic day as we climb a Via Ferrata along side the Cascate di Fanes in stunningly scenic Cortina d’Ampezzo!

After meeting up, we will hike to the base of the Via Ferrata and gear up. This Via Ferrata is not very long or steep – with only a 150 meter gain of altitude – making it the perfect outing for families with children and groups of friends.

We will hike along the banks of a pristine river until we reach the foot of the Via Ferrata and will enjoy gorgeous views of the waterfall all the way up. Once we get the the top, we will take a quick break to enjoy the views of the surrounding mountains and alpine forests, then make our way back down.

The whole day will only take about four hours, so once we are finished, make the most of your time in the natural park and do some exploring on your own!

This trip is perfect for people who have no prior experience, but are interested in learning how to climb a Via Ferrata. Once you have finished this trip, you will know all the basics and be prepared for the next level.

Born and raised in the Dolomites, I’ve been working from 2006 as a professional mountain guide in the Alps. Since a few years I’m living and working between my home (Val di Zoldo ) Cortina, Alleghe and Corvara. From the famous and beautiful Dolomites, it’s the quest for wilderness that keeps my motivation up and feeds my dreams of climbing and skiing.
