Description

Courmayeur is located in the Aosta Valley, in the Alps in northwest Italy. It is a stunning location for winter sports, chosen by many for its variety of snowy options. Because there are a lot of possible routes for all levels, it is the ideal spot for this 1-day beginner splitboarding tour that starts from Courmayeur!

What will we include in this beginner splitboarding adventure? Topics we will cover include ski touring basics, avalanche awareness, route planning and more. Additionally, everything we learn we will be putting to practice in situ, so it will be a hands on experience. This means you will not only have a fantastic time in the Alps, but you will also acquire skills that will help you advance in your splitboarding!

What do you need to know? You don’t need prior splitboarding experience, however a good fitness level is a must. Also, some previous ski touring or mountaineering skills are recommended. Of course, we will adapt the program to suit your needs, and, you will at all times count with your guide to help and show you the ropes!
