Climbing the Peñón de Ifach is a must-do in Calpe. It is 332 meters high and there are a few different routes to the top, both for climbing and walking. The great thing about this climb is that there are a number of multi-pitch routes that will suit the beginner and the more advanced. The views you’ll get of the Mediterranean Sea as you climb are simply unbeatable, on a clear day you may even get to see Ibiza.

Peñón de Ifach

Also called the Penyal d'Ifac, this huge limestone formation juts out off the Calpe coastline. It’s popular with climbers and is also a nature reserve home to birds of prey like Falcons and varied plant life.
