Located on the westernmost portion of the Iberian Peninsula, Portugal coastal country with a strong rock climbing tradition. Once you get here, you will certainly see why. There are innumerable opportunities for all kinds of thrilling and scenic climbs.
Head out to one of the numerous natural parks that dots the countryside. Here you will find excellent routes, or you can make your own. With 10 parks all over the country, there is plenty to explore and even more to climb.

Depending on whether you are visiting the north or south of the country, you will want to fly into the international airports at Lisbon (LIS) or Porto (OPO). From there, the rest of the country is pretty well connected by bus.
