I am a qualified IFMGA guide with over 20 years experience of climbing and skiing in the UK, Europe and greater ranges. I specialise in private guiding and instruction from novice to expert.
I divide my time between my home on the edge of the Peak District (UK) and the Alps.

For me, it all started on the gritstone edges of my home county Derbyshire. By mid-teens, I was hooked on climbing and the mountains, and many adventures and expeditions followed including notable new routes on Greenland's big walls. In the 90's I spent many years leading mountaineering expeditions in the greater ranges and summited on many high peaks of the Himalayas and the Andes. In the winter of 2008, I completed winter ascents of the north face of the Eiger, Grand Jorasses and the Matterhorn.
Even after all these years, my love for climbing is undiminished and recently completed a goal by climbing my first 8a.

I would particularly like to offer and share with you the joys of mountains and climbing through the following activities:
- Rock climbing guiding and coaching in the Peak District and throughout the UK
- Ice climbing guiding and coaching in Scotland and the Alps
- Summer and winter mountaineering in the Alps
- Off piste skiing and ski touring in the Alps
