Explore-share.com helps you book your next Mountain Climbing trip in Pollux.

The Pollux, rising to 4092 meters, is a peak of the Pennine Alps located between the Aosta Valley in Italy and the Valais in Switzerland. It is part of the Monte Rosa massif, and its twin peak is Castor. The ascent of Pollux is not too technical compared with other 4000ers in the region. Of course you need some experience, but it is a doable challenge for less than expert mountaineers. A 2-day ascent will involve spending the night at one of the classic huts. Alternatively, you can go for the 1-day ascent using the lift of the Klein Matterhorn. This ascent can be only one of the many adventures on a longer mountaineering trip! Explore-Share only promotes mountain trips led by certified guides.
