Únete a mí en este increíble trek de 3 días en Ushuaia, ¡el punto más al sur de los Andes! Ven a la capital de la provincia de Tierra del Fuego en Argentina y vive una experiencia inolvidable.
Comenzaremos nuestro trek en Ushuaia adentrándonos en la cordillera de los Andes a través del área del Cordón Alvear. Luego, caminaremos hasta alcanzar el espectacular Glaciar Ojo del Albino. Además, disfrutaremos de la impresionante vista de montañas y hielo. Esa primera noche dormiremos en una tienda de campaña.
A la mañana siguiente, prepárate para poner tus crampones y cruzar el glaciar. Luego, te guiaré hacia la hermosa Laguna Esmeralda. El paisaje alrededor de la laguna es realmente impresionante, con vistas de montañas y glaciares. ¡Realmente sentirás la energía y belleza de los Andes!
Además, entre diciembre y marzo, las aguas de la laguna se tornan de un increíble color verde esmeralda. Esto se debe a los sedimentos de los glaciares derritiéndose. Así que, después de dejar la laguna caminaremos hacia el refugio de montaña, donde tendremos una deliciosa comida.
Luego, la próxima mañana caminaremos hacia el sur y ascenderemos por el valle de Ollum. Cruzaremos entre el Monte Olivia y el Monte Cinco Hermanos. Más tarde, descenderemos hacia la Estancia Túnel, un rancho ubicado en el margen del Canal Beagle.

Comenzaremos la caminata en la zona del Cordón Alvear y subiremos al Glaciar Ojo del Albino, donde pasaremos nuestra primera noche en tiendas.
Temprano en la mañana haremos una travesía con crampones a lo largo del glaciar y bajaremos a Laguna Esmeralda, ¡donde continuaremos un poco para encontrar nuestro refugio de montaña!
Hoy nos dirigiremos hacia el sur a lo largo del Valle de Ollum, pasando entre el Monte Olivia y el Monte 5 Hermanos. Luego bajaremos a Estancia Túnel, ubicada justo en las orillas del Canal Beagle.

I was born and live in Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world! I've been skiing since I was 2 years old, and competed as a ski athlete in a Nordic ski and Biathlon world ski championships, world cups and in the winter Olimpic Games Torino 2006
In 2007 I retired from professional competitions to focus on my guiding career. I trained on rock, ice and mixed climbing skills as well as guiding techniques and became a mountain guide in 2011 at the Argentinean Mountaineering Guides Association (AAGM). In 2017 I completed the guiding courses to become also a certified Ski Mountain Guide GEM-AAGM.
I've done a large number of technical climbs at the Darwin Range and Patagonia while many of those are new lines

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy.
