Niseko United en Hokkaido es oficialmente el mejor centro de esquí de Japón y se encuentra a 2,5 horas del Aeropuerto Internacional de Chitose. ¡Ven conmigo para un día increíble allí!

La cadena montañosa de Niseko es un grupo de 11 picos. El más importante de ellos es Niseko Annupuri, a 1308 m. Debido a su proximidad con el Mar de Japón, esta es un área con una cantidad abundante de nevadas.

En este programa, propongo llevarte durante 4.5 horas de esquí de travesía con ascenso con pieles. Decidiré la mejor ubicación para ir cada día, dependiendo de las condiciones meteorológicas y de la nieve.

Esto significa que puedes explorar con confianza y recorrer en esquí la nieve polvo del maravilloso backcountry de las montañas de Niseko sin preocuparte por el clima.

Además, también puedo llevarte al Mt. Shiribetsu (1107 m) que está un poco más lejos de Niseko (aproximadamente 45 minutos en coche).

Hello! I’m a qualified Austrian mountain ski guide, a ski instructor as well as a alpine and ski guide with the Japan Mountain Guide Association (JMGA). I’ve lived 7 years in Austria, mainly as a ski instructor. I then became a mountain ski patrol in Tateyama in Japan, a heli ski guide in New Zealand, a chief guide at Niseko Hanazono Powder Guides, an assistant director of Niseko International snow sports school, and ultimately have started ski guiding independently since 2013.

I value the fundamentals of skiing as sports; to enjoy the snow mountains in a stylish, free and safe manner, in both private and as work. The best outcome is when both the client and guide can have fun, and for this, I am quite particular about not only guiding but also in technical / skills aspects and selection of appropriate equipment. I am an alpine skier but also enjoy telemark skiing. In summer, I have enjoyed surfing for a long time. Whether it be on waves, on mountains or on asphalt, if there’s enough steepness then I love to ‘glide’, which is my motto.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger.
