Navegar en los remotos fiordos de Noruega para deslizar sobre increíble nieve polvo virgen definitivamente es una experiencia de tu vida. Te invito a unirte a mí en esta aventura de 7 días alrededor de los Alpes Lyngen para un inolvidable programa de esquí de travesía y navegación en el norte de Noruega, dentro del Círculo Ártico.

Nuestra aventura comienza en la ciudad de Tromso. Durante este viaje de una semana, estaremos alojados en el velero SkyDancer, donde dormiremos cómodamente y comeremos comidas deliciosas. Tiene capacidad para hasta 8 huéspedes y 2 guías.

Cada día, exploraremos una nueva isla. Disfrutaremos de una profunda conexión con la naturaleza, mientras el velero se desliza silenciosamente acercándonos a montañas majestuosas y vida silvestre única. Nos dirigiremos hacia el norte a los encantados fiordos de Noruega**, donde los días son largos y esperan increíbles posibilidades de esquí. Podemos esquiar al ritmo que su grupo desee, tan agresivo o tan relajado como les guste.

Quedarás asombrado por la belleza natural de impresionantes montañas que se elevan directamente desde el mar en los Alpes Lyngen. Descubrirás una tierra con una amplia variedad de terrenos, ideal para tours de esquí increíbles.

Planificaremos nuestros tours según las condiciones climáticas, buscando alcanzar los mejores lugares para una aventura de esquí única. La mayoría de las cumbres aquí están en el rango de 2200-3500'. Nuestro día comenzará con un buen desayuno y, después de revisar nuestro equipo, estaremos listos para salir y perseguir la nieve polvo.

Comenzaremos en la playa y un viaje de ida y vuelta nos tomará unas 6 a 8 horas. De vuelta en el barco, será momento de disfrutar de la cena, relajarse, pescar, navegar y planificar el itinerario del próximo día.

Guía de Montaña

A Utah native, Todd grew up with a strong passion for skiing and playing in the mountains. Looking to incorporate this passion into a profession Todd attended the University of Utah and earned a bachelors degree from the Parks and Recreation department. He worked in the outdoors as a wilderness instructor teaching survival skills in the Utah desert for many years. In 2000 he began mountain guiding, and has been sharing his passion of the mountains with others ever since.

Todd’s guiding has taken him to many corners of the globe including; Alaska, Asia, Antarctica, Europe, South America and the Western U.S. He is a fully certified IFMGA/UIAGM mountain guide. Other training and certifications include Avalanche level III and Wilderness First Responder.

Climbing with Todd one immediately feels a sense of safety and trust. Todd is a strong and highly competent leader with years of experience leading large expeditions and one on one guiding. He is a skillful teacher and enjoys helping folks accomplish their climbing aspirations.

Some of his notable ascents include; Denali’s Cassin Ridge, a first ascent of the 5000’ west face of Mt. Vinson in Antarctica and the Walker spur on the Grand Jorasses in the Alps.

When he is not traveling Todd enjoys spending time at home in Salt Lake City, Utah climbing and skiing the Wasatch with his wife, climbing partner and fellow guide.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.
