Zermatt está situada en la región de habla alemana del cantón del Valais, en el suroeste de Suiza. Con una elevación de 1,620m y muchas pistas orientadas al norte, ofrece enormes áreas de nieve polvo. En esta salida quiero llevarte allí para una experiencia de esquí freeride inolvidable.

Como destino de esquí, Zermatt tiene la temporada de invierno más larga de los Alpes, con excelentes condiciones de nieve desde finales de noviembre hasta finales de abril. Visitantes de todo el mundo vienen a visitar este famoso centro de esquí rodeado de muchos cuatro miles como el Matterhorn (4,478 m).

Puedes elegir el área que prefieras esquiar. Podemos ir a Sunnegga, Gornergrat, Klein Matterhorn o Cervinia. Y de acuerdo a tus deseos y tu nivel de esquí, crearemos el mejor itinerario para ti. Tal vez prefieras giros cortos y admirar tus huellas en la próxima parada, o simplemente quieras volar montaña abajo. De cualquier manera, te garantizo amplias pistas de nieve polvo sin fin en un fabuloso paisaje alpino.

El teleférico más alto de Zermatt conduce a Klein Matterhorn (3,883 m), un enorme pico con vistas panorámicas en todas direcciones. También podemos tomar el ferrocarril al aire libre más alto de Europa, que va hasta la cumbre de Gornergrat (3,089 m). Pero la verdadera diversión estará lejos de las pistas oficiales, ¡así que espera poner muchos kilómetros de polvo fuera de pista bajo tus esquís!

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger.
