Únete a mí en una expedición de montañismo exploratorio a la Cordillera Darwin, en el extremo más austral de la Patagonia chilena.

La Cordillera Darwin es conocida por sus montañas y tierras salvajes increíbles que están convirtiéndose en el futuro del montañismo en Patagonia. Hace que los montañistas se enamoren de la magia de lo hostil y genera la mayor admiración por la naturaleza.

El último extremo de la cordillera de los Andes, la cordillera Darwin es parte del Parque Nacional Alberto de Agostini.

La Cordillera Darwin tiene muchos glaciares muy activos, y a menudo enormes trozos de hielo se desploman en el mar. Leones marinos, pingüinos y focas leopardo curiosean asomando sus cabezas entre los trozos de hielo flotantes. Y a menudo también zorros y pingüinos deambulan por las playas y laderas cercanas.

Esta expedición única en un velero es única en el sur de la Patagonia. Usamos el barco como campo base, regresando allí una vez alcanzada la cumbre o lo que el grupo tenga previsto hacer en el lugar. Esta táctica permite que las expediciones tengan un marco de seguridad mejor que cualquier otra actividad sin apoyo de ningún tipo. También proporciona comodidad y un lugar de relajación una vez que se ha terminado la salida diaria.

Todos los veleros que viajan a la Cordillera Darwin tienen camas individuales y compartidas, un baño con ducha, sala de estar con mesa para desayuno/almuerzo, agua caliente e infusiones todo el día, cocina y comedor (la capacidad del barco se recomendará dependiendo del número de personas en el grupo).

Mountain Guide, GEM-AAGM Ski Guide, UIMLA, AIARE level 2 from Argentina.

I was born and live in Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world! I've been skiing since I was 2 years old, and competed as a ski athlete in a Nordic ski and Biathlon world ski championships, world cups and in the winter Olimpic Games Torino 2006

In 2007 I retired from professional competitions to focus on my guiding career. I trained on rock, ice and mixed climbing skills as well as guiding techniques and became a mountain guide in 2011 at the Argentinean Mountaineering Guides Association (AAGM). In 2017 I completed the guiding courses to become also a certified Ski Mountain Guide GEM-AAGM.

I've done a large number of technical climbs at the Darwin Range and Patagonia while many of those are new lines

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy.
