Chimborazo (6,268 m) es un pico majestuoso en el corazón de Ecuador. También es una de sus montañas más icónicas. Pero, para alcanzar su cima, necesitarás prepararte y aclimatarte. Así que únete a mí, en esta aventura de montañismo hacia la cumbre del Chimborazo, ascendiendo primero el Cayambe (5790 m) y el Iliniza (5126 m).

Este programa es exclusivo para aquellos con un nivel de condición física excelente, experiencia previa y el coraje para intentar estas tres cumbres en 6 días. Mi principal objetivo será mantenerte seguro mientras me aseguro de que tengas un tiempo fantástico.

Comenzaremos ascendiendo el Iliniza Norte, donde obtendremos algunas de las vistas más impresionantes de los Andes. A partir de ahí, nos dirigiremos hacia Cayambe, este volcán inactivo ciertamente nos inyectará la dosis adecuada de adrenalina para continuar nuestra expedición. Alcanzar su cima requerirá esfuerzo, ya que pasaremos por glaciares, nieve, hielo y terrenos rocosos. Pero una vez que estemos en la cumbre, obtendremos los escenarios más impresionantes como la recompensa perfecta.

Luego, nos prepararemos para nuestro último y final objetivo, la cima del Chimborazo. Por lo tanto, pasaremos el día en el pueblo de Baños de Agua Santa. Así, podremos realizar caminatas cortas y participar en otras actividades al aire libre para aclimatarnos. Llegar a la cima del Chimborazo nos tomará alrededor de 8 a 9 horas. Pero, respirar el aire puro en su cumbre, hará que todo valga la pena.

Las comidas incluidas son durante la expedición (en refugios y snacks para los ascensos). Las comidas excluidas son en las ciudades/hoteles y almuerzo después de los ascensos. La recogida el primer día y el traslado el último día se pueden organizar según su alojamiento (Quito o en el camino de/a la montaña, otros destinos están sujetos a cargos adicionales).

As passionate mountaineer and with almost 20 years of guiding experience, I worked with clients from all over the world. Each tour is a unique experience and I will pleased to guide you to the marvellous summits of Ecuador and South America. My journeys have allowed me to guide and summit several mountains in Peru, like Alpamayo, Chopicalqui & Tocllaraju amongst others and to experience some mountain climbing in the Alps of Austria and Italy.

I’m based in Baños de Agua Santa, Ecuador’s famous piece of heaven, where we run together with my Austrian girlfriend a small tour operator and a consulting office.

Continuous improvement and keeping up with the State of the Art is our mission:in 2017, I completed the IFMGA certification and, recently, in 2018, I received the National guide certification from the ministry of Tourism.

President of Baños Trail Running Club, I run every week with my team. My achievement of 2018 : Finishing 1st of my category for the 100km Ruco Ultra Trail.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger.
