Famoso por su belleza y su forma distintiva, el Alpamayo es una montaña impresionante ubicada en la Cordillera Blanca de los Andes peruanos. Con 5,947 metros sobre el nivel del mar, es uno de los picos que pertenece al Macizo de Santa Cruz y ofrece varias rutas diferentes para escaladores de todo el mundo.
Para este programa, nos reuniremos en la ciudad de Huaraz y conduciremos a través del departamento de Ancash hasta Cashapampa, el punto de inicio de nuestro ascenso. Si estás interesado, puedes leer un itinerario detallado del programa a continuación.
La dificultad de la escalada al Alpamayo depende del clima y las condiciones de la nieve. En general, el nivel de esta escalada es difícil y requiere una muy buena condición física y experiencia previa en montañismo.

O consulta este ascenso de 4 días que lidero en el Monte Tocllaraju, también en la Cordillera Blanca.
Conduciremos desde Huaraz a través de Caraz al punto de inicio, Cashapampa, durante aproximadamente 2 o 3 horas. Luego, subiremos durante 4 a 5 horas hasta el Valle de Santa Cruz, el Campamento Llamacorral y, finalmente, el Lago Ichic (3,950 metros).
Iremos al Campamento Base (4,400 metros) y luego al Campamento Morrena (4,800 metros). Esto nos tomará alrededor de 4 a 5 horas.
En una caminata de 4 a 5 horas, iremos al Campamento Alto (5,100 metros).
El día 4, alcanzaremos la cumbre después de una caminata de 12 a 14 horas. Luego regresaremos al Campamento Alto.
Bajaremos al Campamento Base. Esto nos llevará alrededor de 5 o 6 horas.
Finalmente, volveremos a Cashapampa (6 o 7 horas) y conduciremos a Huaraz.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area.
