Dent de Geant y Rochefort Arete son dos rutas de alpinismo muy clásicas en Chamonix. ¡Únete para un increíble programa de 2 días!

Dent de Geant (4013 m) es un pico en el massif del Mont Blanc con una lanza notable sobresaliendo. La línea de la cresta al este de este pico es conocida como Rochefort Arete, y es una de las aristas de nieve más hermosas de los Alpes.

Estas rutas de escalada tienen un grado de dificultad AD (sistema de clasificación alpina), lo que significa que son ligeramente técnicas. Debido a esto, deberías tener experiencia en escalada de un 5c aproximadamente, así como 4 a 5 años de experiencia en alpinismo en montañas nevadas.

Además, es mejor si has realizado alguna otra ruta de escalada en los Alpes, como Cosmique Ridge o Pointe Lachenal.

En cuanto a tu nivel de forma física, deberías ser capaz de moverte durante 10 horas con una mochila de 7 kg en aristas de nieve, incluyendo algunas secciones rocosas.

Hay dos opciones para nuestro itinerario:

Comenzar desde Aiguille du Midi, pasar la noche en el refugio Torino y hacer la ruta el día 2.
Conducir hasta Courmayeur, hacer la ruta el día 1 y pasar la noche en el refugio Torino después de la escalada.

Esto dependerá de las condiciones y el clima. Si fuéramos a comenzar desde Aiguille du Midi, entonces deberíamos comenzar muy temprano el día 2, mientras aún está oscuro. Luego, después de hacer cumbre, podemos descender por Helbronner y volver a Chamonix.

Punto de encuentro

Guía de Montaña

I am an IFMGA mountain guide as well as a specialist in mountain rescue. As a guide, I constantly work towards increasing the standards of mountaineering skills in Japan with an emphasis on risk and safety management, whilst training and coaching mountaineering clubs and rescue teams.

I started climbing in my 20s, and since then have enjoyed all-round mountain activities including alpine climbing in Mt Tanigawa (on which I’ve climbed over 360 times), Hodaka, Tsurugi areas as well as rock climbing, ice climbing, ski mountaineering, sawanobori, and high altitude climbing in the Himalayas.
In addition to numerous and notable climbs in Japan, I have an extensive climbing experiences abroad both personal and for guiding; in the Himalayas (Lotse etc.), Eiger, Mont Blanc, Matterhorn, Grands Jorasses north face, and New Zealand (Aspiring, Cook).

My current interest is in training people mountain skills in order for them to enjoy the mountains better and in a safer manner. I run a mountain guide academy where I have been training future mountain guides with a strong focus on safety and elimination of accidents for a number of years. At the same time, I very much enjoy teaching and running skills courses for beginners who are just getting into the mountains but are keen on learning and/ or improving their skills for their next project.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger.
