La ruta Marangu también es conocida como la ruta "Coca-Cola", porque puedes encontrar Coke en cada refugio en el camino hacia arriba. Se acerca al Monte Kilimanjaro desde el sureste y es la ruta más antigua y rápida establecida. También se considera la manera más fácil de subir, debido a su pendiente gradual y camino directo.

Además, ofrece refugios para dormir, con alojamiento estilo dormitorio, a lo largo del camino. Pero, aunque tendrás tu propio colchón y almohada en cada refugio, aún necesitarás una bolsa de dormir.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger.
