Descripción

Ubicado en el estado de Tlaxcala, al este de la Ciudad de México y al norte de Puebla, te invitamos a conquistar la sexta montaña más alta de México. Con 4.420 m (14.500 pies), La Malinche presenta el desafío perfecto para escaladores intermedios que quieren llevar sus habilidades de montañismo al siguiente nivel.

Nuestra propuesta es acercarnos a La Malinche desde la ruta “Las Cabañas del IMSS”, considerada la “ruta estándar” gracias a su belleza y accesibilidad. A 3,330 m (10,950 pies), dejaremos nuestro auto y ascenderemos a través de un hermoso bosque de alta altitud.

Al principio, caminaremos a través de vegetación baja y alpina y más adelante, continuaremos a través de un terreno arenoso y rocoso. En el camino, admiraremos las fantásticas vistas del Pico de Orizaba (5,636 m), el Popocatépetl (5,426 m) y el Iztaccíhuatl (5,230 m). Finalmente, practicaremos algo de escalada en roca y alcanzaremos la cumbre de este poderoso volcán.

Por favor, ten en cuenta que todos los participantes necesitan estar físicamente preparados. Además, ten en mente que tomaremos en consideración la experiencia de cada escalador para organizar el mejor itinerario con el fin de llegar a la cima en las mejores condiciones posibles.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger.
